a. The President General: The President General shall preside over all general meetings and
executive meetings. He shall conduct the entire meeting in accordance with laid down
agenda for the meeting. He shall sign the minutes after they have been duly adopted. He is
the Chief Accounting Officer of the Club. b. The Vice President General: The Vice President General shall assist the President General in
his normal duties and functions. He shall preside over meetings including emergency
meetings in the absence of the President General. c. The Secretary General: The Secretary General shall convene meetings, both general,
executive and emergencies. This shall be at the instance of the President General or Vice
President General (in the absence of the President General) or 2/32/3 of the House.
He shall record accurately the minutes of the Club meetings and attendance in every
meeting. He shall keep good custody of the records of the Club, pertaining to secretariat
work. He shall fully be responsible for all correspondence, but shall consult with the President
General in all his correspondences. d. The Treasurer: He shall be the custodian of the Club’s fund. The Treasurer shall, on receipt
of monies from the Financial Secretary, pay into the Bank Account within one week of receipt
of such monies. Failure to do this, he shall be liable to pay 10% (Ten Percent) of the amount
as interest. He shall not entertain any claims except duly approved by the President General.
He shall furnish statement of the Club’s account on a monthly basis which must be reflected
in minutes of the monthly meeting. e. The Assistant Secretary: The Assistant Secretary shall assist the Secretary General in his
duties and deputize for him in his absence. f. The Spokesman: The Spokesman shall be the mouth piece of the Club. He shall consult with
the President General in crucial matters before he gives an opinion on behalf of the Club. g. The Organizer: The Organizer shall be responsible for arrangement of all social activities of
the Club. h. The Publicity Secretary: He shall be responsible for the projection of Club’s good image
and deal with the press, provided he is duly authorized by the President General. He shall also
be responsible for dissemination of information. i. The Provost: The Provost is to ensure that discipline and orderliness are maintained at
meetings and other social gatherings. He is also empowered to impose and collect fines and
dues arising from lateness, absenteeism and any member found disturbing during meetings.
Such monies shall be handed over to the Financial Secretary for onward transmission to the
Treasurer. j. Board of Trustees:
i. They are the Supreme Council of the Club.
ii. They shall have a say on any major decision of the Club before implementation. k. Advisers: The President General may appoint his predecessor subject to the approval of the
Board of Trustees to be ratified by the general house.
